A cold front will push across the region Saturday night into Sunday morning, pushing snow shower levels below about 4,000 to 4,500 feet by Sunday morning from Carson City south, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow showers are expected behind the front with the best potential mainly south of Highway 50 in the Sierra and also extending into the Highway 395 corridor from Carson City, Carson Valley through Mono County and east into Mineral County.
