Nevada's gaming industry continues its climb out of the doldrums, posting a 5.72 percent increase in February over the same month a year ago.
For the fiscal year, gaming win is up 3.95 percent over the year before.
Nearly every area of the state saw strong growth in February, led by the Boulder Strip in Clark Country that saw a 22.94 percent. Washoe County saw an 8.14 percent increase in February, despite a 7.49 percent decline in North Lake Tahoe.
The Carson Valley area, which includes Carson City, saw a modest 3.51 percent increase in February over prior year. For the fiscal year, Carson Valley is still 1.2 percent behind prior year.
