Have you been to a Reno Aces game yet? You may as well go tonight, help raise money for our local Boys and Girls Club, and enjoy America’s pastime. Go HERE to order tickets. Learn more about our community at the Carson City Library this evening; special guests from the Brewery Arts Center will explain what the center has to offer. If you’re looking for something family friendly, Carson Lanes won’t break the bank. Games only cost $1 per person all day long. Check out the whole list for all of Monday’s offerings.

MONDAY:

  • "Always Lost: A Meditation on War” in the Western Nevada College Main Gallery in the Bristlecone Building (7am-10pm)
  • ’Vantage Point of Distance’ by Las Vegas artist David Rowe in the OXS Gallery at the Nevada Arts Council: 716 N. Carson St. (8am-5pm)
  • Art Exhibit ‘New Crop 2016’ at the CCAI Gallery in the Courthouse: 885 E. Musser (8am-5pm)
  • ’Print Project’ poster exhibit by students at Black Rock Press in the Community Development building [formerly the BRIC]: 108 E Proctor St (8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm)
  • Nevada Artists Association Art Exhibit featuring Pat Holub and Photography by Chas. H. McDonnell, III at the Carson Visitor Center (8am-5pm)
  • Family Day: $1 Bowling and Shoe Rental Specials at Carson Lanes (9am-10pm)
  • Spirit of America Show at the Nevada Artists Association Gallery in the Brewery Arts Center (10am-4pm)
  • Mimosa Monday all day at Ed’s Doghouse
  • Carson City Host Lions Club weekly lunch meeting at Grandma Hattie’s (12pm; for more information, call Tim at 775-885-7033)
  • Community Series: ‘What’s Up in Your Community?’ with special guests from the Brewery Arts Center in the Carson City Library Digitorium (5pm-6:30pm; 9 and under must be accompanied by someone 13+)
  • CCAI Exhibit: Silver State Swimmer, solo exhibition by Michael Malley in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center (available during public meetings and most evenings 5pm-8pm)
  • Dharma Zephyr Sangah Sitting Group at Methodist Church: 213 N. Minnesota, Youth Group Building corner of Proctor and Minnesota (5:30pm-6:30pm Beginners; 7pm-8:30pm)
  • Board Game Night at Nerdvana: 3220 Hwy 50, Suite #2 (6pm)
  • Motocross/Hockey/Football Monday at the Feisty Goat Pub (6pm; wear some gear and your first drink is free)
  • Live Music with Bill Wharton at the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret, Minden (6pm-10pm)
  • High Sierra Swing Dance Club’s Night Out at El Charro Avita (Drop-in Intermediate Swing lesson 6pm, $8; Free open dance 7pm-9pm; please park in back or along the side)
  • Game Night at Carson Cigar Co. AKA the Cigar Bar (7pm-9pm; drink specials for players, prize for winner; games rotate weekly)
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada Aces Baseball Night: vs. the Colorado Sky Fox (7:05; the first 500 kids 12 and under through the gates will receive a free hot dog, small bag of candy and small soda; order your tickets HERE)
  • Mimosa Monday at Caterpillar’s Hookah Lounge (8pm)
