Fun things to do this weekend

Celia Slattery will offer a musical theater workshop Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Brewery in Carson City. She will follow that Saturday night at 7;30 p.m. when she will present a concert based on songs from her newest CD, "Cast of Characters." It’s $22 for the workshop and $16 for the concert.
Slattery has a long career of singing and entertaining, including a seven-moth stint in Bangkok. She is an associate professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Call 883-1976 for details.
"The Gold Hill Cabaret Show" is an evening of fine dining and song from 7-9 p.m. at 1540 S. Main St., Gold Hill. Four-course dinner included, price is $45. Call 847-0111.

Carson St., Steppen Stonz are at the Carson Station, Tracy Bing at the Carson Valley Inn, and Trey Stone at the Carson Nugget showroom. Jeremy Leslie band plays Friday night at Doppelgangers, offering Southern rock/country hits.
