Networking is essential in business, even more so if you are a business owner, entrepreneur, or are in charge of business development. Today, a networking group launched via the popular site MeetUp.com that will bring Carson City, Reno, Tahoe, and Carson Valley leaders together to meet, exchange ideas, network, provide referrals, and educate one another. The Group, CA/NV Business Owner and Entrepreneur MeetUp is waiving its $20 annual dues for the first 40 members who join.
This unique meetup, created by Diane Hansen of Hansen Marketing Communications, will feature more than networking. The group will act as a referral network (where referrals are voluntary, not required), attend business events, private lectures, make each other aware of speaking opportunities and focus on ongoing business growth and development of small to medium-sized businesses which operate in the greater Reno/Tahoe/Carson area.
The initial meeting place for the group is Brugo's Bistro in Carson City, the group's first restaurant sponsor. Outside events may require an extra fee or food/drink purchase, if desired. Meetings will be held throughout Northern California and Nevada (Reno, Carson City, Carson Valley, South Lake Tahoe, North Lake Tahoe) with the occasional road trip.
Members must:
- Own or be key management of an existing business.
- Not be involved in MLM, pyramid scheme, or any other type of business dependent on a down line as their SOLE business.
- Be actively looking to network, gain new business referrals, and share ideas with other area business owners.
- Ready to network differently and get better results from networking activities.
