The McDonald’s restaurant at the far end of North Carson Street was permanently closed Tuesday. Work crews brought down the signage Wednesday and inside work was being completed Thursday afternoon.
Employees have been given jobs at other locations between Carson City and Carson Valley.
Customers don’t have very far to go from the 3344 North Carson Street location as the nearest one is less than a mile away at the corner of Winnie Lane at 2001 N. Carson Street. That McDonald’s was temporarily closed from late March and reopened in June 2014 after a demolition and rebuild.
