Though not bone-chilling compared to what’s going on east of the rockies and in the upper midwest, western Nevada will experience cold weather of its own over the next couple days.
A low front diving south will lead to unseasonably cold temperatures through Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Some valleys will have low temperatures overnight in the teens or single digits.
In Carson City and Carson Valley there’s a 20 percent of chance of snow Saturday night, with a low of 20. Sunday’s high temperature is 38, with a low of 18. Dayton can expect a high Sunday of 36 and a low of 22. It may warm up a bit Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, with a slight chance of rain on Wednesday.
