Gaming profits for Carson City area casinos fell slightly by 0.19 percent in July, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,005,876,336 for July, a 16.95 percent increase compared to July 2011, when licensees reported a gaming win of $860,076,138. The Las Vegas Strip was the big taker for Nevada casinos, with a 27.51 percent gain over 2011 figures.
Carson Valley area casinos, which include those in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and Topaz, took in $8,700,186 for July 2012 compared to $8,716,681 in July 2011.
