Today may be the perfect day for a hike to the Kings Canyon Waterfall: join the Parks and Rec. Easy Walk at 9 a.m. to join in. If you’re looking for something indoors, the Spring has Sprung Art Show at the Nevada Artists Association Gallery at the Brewery Arts Center is overflowing with color. The Clearcreek Bowman have started up their Archery Shoots for the season: free for kids 17 and under, and only $5 for those older. Dance the night away with Country Line Dance Lessons at the Eleventh Frame Lounge in Carson Lanes.

  • ’Pinhole Properties’ exhibit by artist Nancy Raven at the Community Development building [formerly the BRIC]: 108 E Proctor St (8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm)
  • Nevada Artists Association Art Exhibit featuring Bill Migan and Photography by Chas. H. McDonnell, III at the Carson Visitor Center (8am-5pm)
  • ’For Detail View’ by artist Jeff Hantman at the CCAI Gallery in the Courthouse: 885 E. Musser (8am-5pm)
  • Carson City Parks and Recreation Easy Walk: Kings Canyon Waterfall- Meet at the west end of Kings Canyon Rd. (9am-10am; in case of wet weather, the walk will happen at the MAC building: 1870 Russell Way)
  • Books and Brags at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada (9:30am-10:30am; included with admission)
  • Carson City Republican Women's Luncheon to feature talk about involving Millennials; Miranda Hoover, UNR College Republicans President will be the speaker at the Carson City Republican Women’s luncheon beginning at 11 a.m. with a social and 11:30 a.m. with lunch at Casino Fandango, 3800 S Carson St.
