Justin Townsend, associate at Allison MacKenzie Law Firm in Carson City, Nevada, has been named Regional Commissioner of Carson Valley American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).
Carson Valley AYSO serves youth in Region 318, comprised of Minden, Gardnerville, Genoa, Smith Valley, Topaz, and Wellington, NV and Coleville, Woodfords and Markleeville, CA.
As Regional Commissioner, Justin’s responsibilities will include: organizational leadership, business management, engaging local youth and encouraging participation in AYSO. In addition to growing the sport locally, Carson Valley AYSO stresses the importance of making soccer fun for the players.
Reflecting on his new position, Justin stated, “I look forward to serving Carson Valley AYSO Soccer and encourage others to consider offering their time to this all-volunteer organization. Volunteers help ensure the success of our local AYSO organization which focuses on a positive experience for all its participants.”
Justin Townsend joined Allison MacKenzie in 2013. After graduating from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah in 2006, Justin pursued and obtained his law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University in 2010. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2010 and Nevada in 2011. Justin focuses his practice in the areas of business law, real estate law and natural resources.
