Event Date:
October 4, 2015 - 10:00am
A fundraiser will be held for the family of fallen Carson City Sheriff’s Office Deputy Carl Howell on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the 5 Clover Ranch.

The all-day fundraiser will feature special guest Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt. 100 percent of the profit proceeds from the benefit will be presented to the Howell family.

The event will feature a silent auction, kids activities, crafts, face painting, sheriff’s K-9 demonstrations, food and drinks, and live music featuring Canyon White, Cosmic Boogaloo, Southbound Train and Hit Kickin’ Karaoke.

The fundraiser runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Deputy Howell was shot and killed Aug. 15, 2015 while responding to a domestic battery call. Deputy Howell was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had served with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office for nine years. He is survived by his wife and four children.

The 5 Clover Ranch is located south of Carson City on Highway 395. Go here for a map of directions to the 5 Clover Ranch and go here for the website.
