Event Date:
March 10, 2015 (All day)

There’s a good chance that you are viewing this on a phone. I think that Alexander Graham Bell would be blown away with how far his invention had come in the 139 years since he first said ‘Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you’. Today is the birthday of the first telephone call."

The athletics program at Western Nevada College is facing drastic cuts. A group is forming to seek ways to fundraise and keep our Wildcats in the game. Head over to the Legislature Building this morning at 10 a.m.; you’re looking for room 2149.

Tonight you’ll find the Mile High Jazz Band’s monthly performance at Comma Coffee. Enjoy some Jazz and Poetry, and bring the kids; it’s free for those under 18.

Today is informally known as Mario Day, honoring the infamous plumber of Nintendo fame. If you abbreviate the month, the date becomes Mar. 10. You could lose hours looking at YouTube videos devoted to covers of the iconic theme song. Everything from violin, guitar, drums, and piano all the way to musical telsa coils has taken a crack at the melody. Check out the video I have attached, but I must say, don’t attempt it yourself unless you’ve got some serious parkour talent.
