Here we are again! Our Dayton "Cemetery Picnic" was such a Huge Success, we are hosting another event for our October agenda.
Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City has many Nevada founding fathers and mothers resting here. Come on and join the fun in learning their history, the cemetery's history, and the meanings of tombstone carvings.
As we do, a professional letter is sent to the Parks Department (before we advertise) and approval has been readily given for this Cemetery Picnic, with flying colors.
We have a very special guest attending this Picnic...Cindy Southerland, who published an awesome book about Eagle Valley and Carson Valley Cemeteries. She will be speaking at the Cemetery Picnic too, and will have her book available for purchase.
