Carson City area casinos in September saw gaming earnings increase by 1.6 percent over table and slot revenue collected during the same time last year, according figures released Thursday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Casinos in Carson City and Carson Valley including those in Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County except Stateline, earned $8,709,906 in gambling revenue for the month.
Overall, casinos statewide collectively saw a 1.52 percent in “gaming win” over September 2014 figures.
Elswhere, North Lake Tahoe area casinos saw a 7.33 percent gaming win increase, Reno, 9.14 percent, while South Shore Lake Tahoe, a 10.65 decrease, according to the gaming board.
