The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada is pleased to announce the return of their annual fundraiser, “Annual Auction and BBQ Luau” scheduled for Sunday at the Marv Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park in Carson City. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada.
This year, the event will be again a luau theme, complete with Mai Tais and a roasted pig. Brenda Robertson, long time Board Member and advocate for the Club, will be presented with the “Distinguished Service Award” for her commitment to the Club and the youth in Carson City and Carson Valley. The event includes a live auction, and new this year, mobile bidding. Proceeds from the event contribute about 20 percent of the Club’s annual operating budget.
When: Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 3 PM to 7 PM
Where: Marv Teixeira Pavilion, Mills Park, Carson City
Other: Tickets are $125 per person, which includes all you can eat BBQ and drinks, auction and Distinguished Service Award presentation.
